I forgot to mention my favorite things about Hong Kong thus far:
- All the shirtless men that really shouldn’t be shirtless. It makes me giggle every single time I see them
- We didn’t really grasp just how many people there would be our first night here. Yesterday we realized just how many people are in Hong Kong! For example, the cross walks are HUGE just to allow everyone to cross!!
- Since there are so many people, space is a commodity, including personal space. It dawned on me that we weren’t in Kansas anymore when we were yum cha’ing and several people would just come up to our table, reach under it, and grab a toothpick out of the toothpick holder. Luckily I’ve never been one for personal bubbles (as many of my close friends might now . . . hehehe . . . how do you scare a bee?!) ;D.
- The construction is held up by bamboo scaffolding rather than metal. Sooooo Asian.
